Bailey gets chosen last when her class is choosing teams.
1. Have you ever experienced being chosen last or nearly last when somebody is choosing teams or groups? What does that feel like inside? What does it look like when someone is chosen last?

Have you ever been picked first? How does that make you feel inside?

Have you ever been in the position to pick a team or group? What makes you pick somebody and overlook others? How do you think it is to be the person who almost always gets chosen last?

How can we create teams or groups that make everybody feel ok?
Act A
Share fun ideas on how to create groups or teams that make it random how the groups are put together. What would be good about doing it this way? What could be drawbacks?
Act B
Provide cards with two different colors and put them face down in a pile. Everyone picks a card and becomes a team based on the same color. Continue with an appropriate group level activity based on the teams.
